Eternal Perspectives:
*New Creation Realities.* Children of God #1
?That God has made us His spiritual children by the new birth is of great significance! This is the reality of the New Creation.
The truth is that all humans or God’s natural creation are born in sin because of Adam the first man’s sin. Yes, many of us were and are still physically alive but spiritually dead.
?The new birth not only makes us the offspring of God who are alive in Christ but makes us equal with Him in character, nature, and works done through His life in us.
?” It is true
that the sons of God are the image of Christ in the Earth and as He is So are we.” Dr. Mary Banks.
?It is because of this that men will come to know the true and living God. This is possible because in the salvation experience our soul is joined to the Lord and we are one spirit. “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 1 Cor.5:17
After we are born again, if we choose to be obedient children, we are even as He is in the earth and therefore colabourers with Him in fulfilling His eternal purpose.
?The more I think about this is the more excited I become. Yet I am saddened by the fact that there are still so many persons who live outside of this reality of a life in Christ. You see, before salvation we too were:
➖By nature children of wrath. Ephesians 2.3
➖ Of our father the devil. John 8:44
➖Ruled by the spirit of iniquity that now works in the children of disobedience. Ephesians 2:2
? Yes, without Christ we are equal in character, nature and works with God’s arch enemy Satan. This is not God’s will for anyone. This is exactly why He wants us to choose to surrender our lives to Him and remain rooted and grounded in Him. This is the only way to escape the ills of the old creation, be a part of the new creation so we can fulfil the purpose for which He created us.

?Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be *partakers of the divine nature* , having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:4 KJV
?Therefore if any man be in Christ, *he is a new creature:* old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Cor. 5:17 KJV
?Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because *as he is, so are we in this world.* I John 4:17 KJV
*Reflection*
We are either God’s child in the new creation or we are the devil’s child if we have not experienced the new birth. Being God’s child and acting like the devil is to give place to Him in our lives. A deadly game to play! Whose child are you?
