Eternal Perspectives – Beautiful Inside Out
?In our world today, so much emphasis is placed on beauty. We spend a lot of time, money and energy trying to get that prefect look. Multi-billion dollar industries like the cosmetic and fashion industries thrive on the beauty culture of our day. People will do almost anything to get “the right look”, but what is real beauty? Is it a lady’s lips, hips and finger tips? 
?Is it a man’s height, six pack and sleek attire?
?
?Real beauty cannot be solely an external focus. Though it is important to look our best, it cannot be what we capitalize on at the expense of having a beautiful heart. The awesome and authentic perspective of beauty comes from God. He sees our bodies as precious vessels and comes to live in us when we accept Him in our hearts. He knows that our bodies are temporary vessels and therefore His focus is on what will last forever!
?God sees attributes such as love, humility, kindness, peace, integrity, honesty, among so many others, as priority. To Him, virtues like these are precious eternal jewels of the heart that emanate from His Presence living in us and is reflected in an outward life of love, servitude and godly character.
?People today seek desperately as if there is a goldmine of perpetual youth and beauty to be found, but the truth is it doesn’t exist in this world. To live in a state of perpetual beauty is to have real, eternal beauty of the heart that never fades away. That real beauty is Christ. The truth is that all the beauty of this world and all that our natural eyes can see will undoubtedly pass away. Our bodies; young, beautiful, appealing and attractive, will one day get old and ultimately fade away!
?Today, as you get dressed to go out and to take on the challenges and other experiences of another day, go ahead and look your very best, but ensure that as you do so, your focus is more so on what is inside of you. Give that priority and know that real beauty comes from God who wants to shine in you from the inside-out! Have a real ‘Beauty-Filled’ day.
