Galatians 5:19-23 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such, there is no law.

There are two kingdoms: one of darkness and one of light. The works of the flesh stem from the kingdom of darkness, and they come to bind people.  Fortunately, the principle between darkness and light that is at work in the natural world holds true in the spiritual too, and it is that darkness must flee when light comes. Therefore, freedom is accessible to all who desire it, and it is easy to attain since we only need God.

This grace from God is His nature. When He adopted the totality of the human experience as Jesus Christ though He never sinned He experienced humanity.  He chose to understand our bondage from our perspective. As such, He eliminated the possibility for us to conjure up any excuse that He would not understand to hold any supposed validity; we have no probable reason for believing that God will not understand.

Along with being fully human, Jesus was also fully God. In Him dwelt the fullness of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Colossians 2:8-9 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Through both these aspects comes a reason we should love Jesus, and loving Jesus is the key to being fully Jesus– loving Him is the first and paramount step.  Signs, wonders, and miracles will come along the way, but without a deep-rooted love for Him, we are bound to be distracted by the limelight.
It is through loving Jesus that we will be able to accomplish two of His instructions: to feed His sheep (John 21:17) and to obey Him (John 14:15). Even after achieving this goal and becoming fully Jesus, we must still beware of “spoilers”.

These people come to trap you in their religious chains, and their only effect is to have you delay or thwart the accomplishment of your mission, which is to be Fully Jesus, Lit.
Lit is the past tense of light.  Light, in both the natural and spiritual, stimulates sight and allows things to be visible.  When we are spiritually lit, people are able to see Jesus.  That is because being fully lit is about bringing the presence of Christ on the scene.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

2 Peter 1:3-8 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This presence is detectable in both the natural and spiritual world, though everyone in the natural world may not be able to identify the source of our light. Notwithstanding, we will get attention because of the power we carry, whether we request it or not. Nevertheless, we should not be bashful.

Matthew 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill can not be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good and  glorify your Father, which is in heaven.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

This light of life is true freedom one that holds the laws of God higher than all else, even the laws of the land.  Though by obeying the laws of the land, we may not experience tangible imprisonment, walking in darkness leads to an even more extreme and perilous confinement.

This light is also one that will highlight and even dispel darkness in our surroundings. This might come in the form of us rebuking the actions of the people in our spaces, or us even rebuking the lifestyles we once indulged before we were saved.

With such a great responsibility that may be misunderstood or even repulsed by the people in our spheres, we may be tempted to be afraid and to hide our lights. However, God tells us not to be afraid because He is not afraid and He is in us. There is a peace that comes from God to comfort us when we embrace holiness.

Titus 2:11-12 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Through Christ, we believers receive spiritual enlightenment, salvation, and hope.  Still, there are people around us in all our spheres, for example, in our workplace and our home, who are hopeless.

They trust in atrocities, including witchcraft, or just lack hope in anything higher. Our commission is to shine the light in us in all our circumstances. It is to reflect Jesus’ divine light in all our ways, including spiritually, morally, and socially. The fruit of the Spirit is one fruit. Therefore, there is no love without kindness, no love without patience, et cetera.

When we are fully Jesus, we must be willing to be a light to anyone and everyone, we must pray for others because we are aware of spiritual forces, we must express the fruit of the Spirit and not get entangled in the wiles of satan, therefore becoming his trophy, and we must discern God in all our circumstances.

2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Oppositions to being Fully Jesus, Lit:
  • Pride
  • Fear and anxiety
  • Prayerlessness

1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
