Everyone emanates light or darkness, which they carry into all their spaces. Ultimately, either stem from Jesus or Satan, so people either manifest the light of Jesus or the darkness of Satan.
Which do people and the spirit world entertain when they entertain you?
What are you lit up with?
The better option of the two is to be fully Jesus lit, that is, manifesting fruits of the Spirit. This means to be who God wants us to be in Jesus as it is He who glorifies God the Father.
To be fully Jesus is to receive the life of Christ and be walking in the character of Christ.
It means to live godly/sober lives in this world. It means to be obedient to God even when we do not see the whole picture or journey beforehand like Abraham was (Genesis 12:1).
The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes. It is without partiality/bias. God helps us through His Holy Spirit, who He places in us at salvation.
📖 Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such, there is no law.
On the other hand, we can choose to manifest the influence of Satan, which is the works of the flesh. This influence may sometimes be characterized or recognized by the presence of lust in the person or carrier who walks in darkness.
Another telltale sign of someone who is walking in darkness is the person carrying the idea of a self-made image that opposes God.
This is because all humans are created in God’s image and likeness. Therefore, a self-made image contrasts a God-made one - a fully Jesus one.
📖 Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
All these qualities may give us the sense that we are in control while they sink us deeper into the grasp of Satan, placing us under his law. Satan’s goal is to take us to hell with him because he knows that that is his end, though he is terrified of it.
The only remedy for all the sin we’ve engaged in is to engage the character of Christ without withdrawal, that is, walk in obedience to God.
It is important to note that persons can once walk with God but then choose to return to the lifestyle they once knew. They then become satan’s trophies.
Anyone who has had an encounter with the life changing word of God but then chooses to remain in the shackles of darkness is a trophy to Satan.
They are also nearer to God’s judgment than anyone else on the planet.
Romans Chapter 1 is written to the house of God, and He is coming as Jehovah Mecka desh, the Lord who sanctifies.
He will sanctify and purge His church.
📖 1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Similarly, those who may not blatantly serve Satan but instead choose to hide their light will become privy/susceptible to the wrath of God (Matthew 5:14-15).
📖 Matthew 5:15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Nevertheless, no matter the situation, God offers redemption and restitution.
📖 John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
📖 Romans 10:13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
📖 Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.
Once we are embracing the character of Christ, we will know God is pleased as we will feel and experience His pleasure. Evil spiritual forces, however, will not, and they will try to thwart our progress in God with many different strategies, including attacking our physical bodies. Still, we are encouraged by God in Matthew 10:28.
📖 Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but can not kill the soul. But rather fear Him, who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell._
The Apostle Paul knew this principle well as he was subjected to it a myriad of times. Yet, he found contentment, peace, and even joy. He stated in
📖 Galatians 6:17 “From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.”
One reason for his positive emotions was that he knew that the God he served was more powerful than the gods of the land that he was sojourning in. This was highlighted in his interaction with a sorcerer who had a lot of power, both demonic and socio-political, yet when Paul punished him by the power of God to be struck blind, he was blinded.
Elijah also proved God’s supremacy during his confrontation with the prophets of the idol “baal” as, even though he soaked his offering in water, his offering was the only one to actually become ignited.
People who are fully Jesus are eternally encouraged with the irrevocable and infallible promises of God.
Two of such promises include an incorruptible body that can not die and authority to rule and reign with Him in the Millennium.
📖 Revelation 5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
How to become fully Jesus:
Have faith in Jesus knowing that He is God’s solution for sin. Keep your mind on Him and not on your inadequacies or failures. Jesus has compassion on people who fail, as seen in His interactions with His disciples. One such example was Peter, who denied even knowing Jesus, yet Jesus restored him.
📖 Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus._
