Eternal Perspectives:
*New Creation Realities. New Man. New Life!*
?As a teenager I loved the very popular song ‘Brand New World.” Chorus:
“So if you want a Brand New World you gotta have brand new people
And if you want brand new people you gotta have a brand new life, oh oh
And if you want a brand new life you gotta have a brand new spirit
And if you want a brand new spirit you gotta come to Jesus Christ. Yeah, yeah”
? I longed for a new life in a brand new world and was elated to learn that I could have this in a spiritual sense now and later as a physical reality as God promised us.
?The truth is, *”Christianity is not just a change of behaviour it is receiving the life of Christ.” Dr. Mary Banks* It is the very life of Christ in us that gives us power over sin when we obey Him and prepares us for the brand new world He promised.
“Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness”
2 Peter 3:13
?In the New Creation God takes every aspect of our old life and makes us a brand New Creation in Him. *A new man with a new life.* Wow!
He however leaves us with a memory of who we were before our new birth so we can praise Him for His awesome gift of eternal life and be able to identify with people who are now on the same track as a demonstration of His love, grace and power.
?There are however many persons who after salvation, live their lives haunted by their past mistakes and failures.
The truth is, if these
happened before salvation, as far as God is concerned that old man, old mistakes, old life doesnot exist anymore. If they understood this they would walk in the reality of the new life they found in Christ; an inate ability to choose to live holy. If and only if they sin they should quickly repent knowing that sin really dishonours and disregards the pure and holy life of Christ.

?Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, *that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.* For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
