The Record: Believing the Record # 8
?As I thought of the word record 
? many things came to mind: criminal records, music records, the record that the Bible holds ecetera. Record according to Websters online dictionary is to cause (sound, visual images, data, etc.) to be registered on something in reproducible form…to set down in writing: to deposit an authentic official copy of.
? Have you ever reminisced on what you would like to be on record when you leave this earth? Or better yet what is the record that the God-heads about you?
?The Lord has made it easy for us by showing us the record that He would like us all to have. He has recorded this in the Bible.
In University we study to obtain a testimony/record that we are qualified for a particular field or career. Once in that “dream job” we then work towards our goals here on earth. But as we all know everything that we accomplish in this world will eventually perish and only that which is done in and for Christ will follow us into eternity.
?The record that is ongoing is that God has given us eternal life and it is only in His son. God gave us a visual of the record, and it is that we receive eternal life by and only through His son. The testimony that the father wishes to resonate on this earth after we are gone is one that demonstrates the life of His first begotten son, Jesus Christ. He (Jesus) has set the record straight and it is now time for us to follow, reproduce and prove that which God declares to be true.
?The beauty is that we can rest from our labours in Christ as He will do all the work through us If we chose to believe and obey Him.
If you donot have the Holy Ghost seek to be filled to become a bearer of the record. *This is the time for the generation that will declare on the earth that which is on record in heaven* .

? For there are three that bear records in heaven, the father, the word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 John 5:7 KJV
?And this is the record, that God hath given us eternal life and this life is in his son. 1 John 5:11 KJV
?For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:10 KJV
*Reflection*
As we go through this day/week let us pay close attention to the record that we are writing. Be reminded that our lives are recorded in a book and all will be judged according to the deeds done in this life. But be of good cheer beloved, the life that we now live is by the faith of Jesus Christ. As we live in the spirit let us also walk in the spirit.
