?God sent His Son Jesus to save a lost and dying world. Through Jesus’ obedience we now have hope in God to fellowship with Him in this world, and to live with Him in the next. Salvation can only be had through Jesus. There is No other way. 1 John 5 v 11

?As some one who grew up in the church I believed and accepted the gift of salvation without question. There was no difficulty believing in the existence of Jesus, heaven or even hell.
However, in my Christian walk there have been times I didnot obey the scriptures. I eithér doubted God or simply rejected them. I would dismiss them as being too hard.
I knew God existed but did not take Him at His Word and therefore did not believe Him, as to believe God is to obey Him. Hebrews 11 v 6

?I remember vividly my struggles with overcoming hurts and offences. I saw myself always as a victim, and was also trying to obey the Word through my human efforts and will power. After a while I became tired of this.
Upon understanding God’s Word which revealed His mind to me, I sat before Him broken and repentant. I decided to put 1 Peter 2 v19 to work.
I thanked God for the situation I was facing at the time . He commanded me to repent and express what I had learnt from experiencing this trial and what I was grateful for.

?I was able to identify what the trial revealed about me. As a result I was so thankful that God was mindful to show me, ME.
I came to realize how precious trials are when we submit to God and learn the valuable life lessons He is teaching us.
I got up full of His peace and joy which was overflowing in my heart. It was joy unspeakble!

*The truth is the situation was still the same yet God has changed me in the situation and I was happy.*

? It now believe that it is really through submission to God’s Word that His power in me was activated. I got up asking God…”Was it this easy all along?”
I believe!

?God wants us all to receive the gift of eternal life and to walk even as Jesus walked in this Earth as an overcomer and manifested Son of God. “My yoke is easy” He says. When we walk in agreement and submission to God , it shows Him that we believe Him. When we believe Him we allow Him to work through us and others around us will witness His power at work in and through us and glorify Him.
