? Whenever a son of God sins, God grieves for He has emotions (Eph 4:30).

? I got rescued from the fangs of sin at age 20, looking back I saw that God loved and cared for me so much so that he had set boundaries for me while in sin determining how far I could go. Now that am in his bosom I understand that saints were given at salvation the divine ability to actually talk to God on my behalf. They fervently prayed for me for God to show mercy and to bring me to repentance. The awesome phenomenon here is that their prayers got God’s attention and He responded, how amazing is that, can you relate?

? Recently, God has been speaking to me regarding prayer allowing me to perceive that I will be constantly strengthened as a result of praying daily. Times past I may fail God and my heart would then experience an immense hunger for fellowship once more. I would feel so hopeless, helpless and weak in that moment for I had lost fellowship with the source of my strength. It became obvious that I didnot learn from my bad choices and it was revealed to me that it was because I was not vigilant and was ignorant of the craftiness of the devil for reasons such not fellowshiping with God in prayer and his Word.

? The reality is the New Man that we become in Christ desires to commune with the Father through prayer daily for this is the only way God responds to our spiritual needs and we are able to receive strength to resist daily temptations.

?Jesus declared that we must always pray and faint not (Luke 18:1). In fact, Jesus himself prayed while He was on earth and He made sure He taught us how to pray. In all His wisdom He knows prayer is the only way we amaintain fellowship with Him in this wilderness called “the world”.

? It is important to note that prayer without obedience is futile; in going before Him in prayer he is faithful in revealing our faults to us and requires a righteous response. As sons of God we have the choice to obey and experience his peace or neglect these divine instructions to our own detriment. Let us allow the intercessor in us to come forth; pray, trust and obey.

*Reflection*
Our souls are so treasured by God so much so that he protects it by placing it within himself, are you constantly praying for strength to guard your own soul?
