?I recently spoke to someone who had just received salvation, who was very concerned that even though she was reaching out to her friends with love she was being rejected by some.
The truth is those of us who are Christians and choose to walk in the love of God will not be loved by everyone.

?I had to learn this and also choose to consistently walk in love towards such persons until God opened their hearts to see and experience His love at work in and through my life.

?This is why as Christians we should do nothing to stop or hinder the flow of the love or light of Christ to shine through our lives.There are times when I have done this and had to apologise to persons who did not entertain the love of God in me. My life was a stumbling block rather than a stepping stone to them finding and experiencing that the ❤Love of God works!

?The truth is that the love of God is the light that shines in the darkness of men’s hearts and makes them very uncomfortable in sin and sometimes angry and hateful towards true Christians. It takes the love of God in us to break and melt their cold hearts darkened by sin and ignorance.

?The New Man in Christ must understand this and respond with love and compassion to everyone at all times. We can do this if we choose to submit to the power of the life of Christ in us. This is our mission.

?Jesus took the time to prepare us for this by sharing His experience during the time His Father sent Him to earth. This is what He said:

? “These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
?If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”John 15:17‭-‬19

?For those who are not yet saved, consider that you need God”s love. You could be resisting Him through those He has placed in your life to be a presentation of His love and grace; for the saving of your soul.
