The Record: Believing the Record # 7
?For there are three that bear record in heaven the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost and these three are one 1John 5:7. Record has been defined as the sum of past achievements or performance of a person, organization or thing. It is also written or in some other permanent form for later reference.
?I am glad that God thought of us before the world was. He knew that Adam would go off course and set plans in motion before the foundations of the earth; to reconcile us to Himself as His seed, or spiritual children. He experienced us in eternity and set us on a path to choose Him so that we can live out the eternal plan He has for us.
?As I reflect on my life, I can recall many instances of His hands being on my life before I was saved. I encountered a roommate who was a devil worshipper and watched God place Christians friends who would conduct Bible studies to which I was invited. I also remember an accident I was in where I could have died in a car that went flying over a fence and I came out without a scratch. I also could have died in a plane crash in a season where I blindly thought I was enjoying life. It was then God opened my eyes and I realized I was ugly in sin and certainly on my way to hell.
?I fully surrendered my life to Jesus. He washed and cleansed me in His Word, forgave my sins and placed me in Him. I am now seeing that He has nothing else to prove to us. *God’s Word is a permanent Record of who He was, is and is to come* and because He lives in me then my life is a part of the record of heaven now being lived out on earth.
?If you donot know God. I want you to know that God knew you before you were even thought of by your parents and wants you to be a part of His Kingdom. His Record declares that He will receive you if you completely give over to Him with a broken Spirit and a contrite heart.
As Christians God requires us to believe His Word with a pure heart and to manifest Him at all times; as our lives bare the record of eternity and of Christ.
