Eternal Perspectives-My Times are in His Hands
?Time is very limited when compared to the eternal realm.Time will end but eternity has no end. God is eternal and created time which is just a small dot compared to eternity.2 Peter 3:8
?The Word of God declares in Psalms 31:15 that; “your times are in the hands of the Lord.” In the times of your life you will go through trials. However, you must remember that the trials of your life are for a purpose and are also but for a time no matter how long it looks to you.
?At five years old I was sick and died. I went to heaven where I had an encounter with Jesus Christ in a place I describe as the “Garden of Heaven.” It was so peaceful and beautiful; *It was as if time stood still or just never existed* Jesus appeared to me as the man with a very bright face. I also saw the nail prints in His hands. He asked me if I wanted to go back to my family members who were crying for me because I would no longer be with them. I said yes, I want to go back and after a brief conversation with Him, He told me to “be a good boy and return to Him.”
?I never forgot that experience and later made a conscious decision to surrender my life the Lord at the age of 12.
?During my Christian journey I have faced many challenges and serious life threatening situations such as being held up at gun point several times. However, God has always rescued me and given me the grace to go through or overcome them.
?I am now more convinced that truly my times are in are in God’s hands; to fulfil the purpose for which I was born.
?Today, my heart is also comforted that I just donot have to wait on “going back ” but I now experience Him everyday because the eternal God lives in my heart.
?The truth is that whether saved or unsaved. God knows how much time you are given. The wise thing to do is to entrust your life or time completely in His hands.
