*New Creation Realities. New Man-New Priesthood Pt. 2*
?For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

*In the New Creation we are made High Priests in Christ. What an awesome reality!*
?Under the administration of the Law of Moses the High Priest offered sacrifices for the sins of the people. There was only one High Priest at any one time in the whole nation of Israel. Although High Priests could NOT have any physical flaws or infirmities, each one of these Levite High Priests, beginning with the first one, Aaron, had spiritual infirmities. None of them were holy by nature. All of their consciences were still defiled by sin, and they all died.
? However,
Jesus Christ, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
Hebrews 7:24 KJV.
?He is holy by nature in that the Eternal God is his Father
?He was made a high priest by an oath.
?.He will never die, but lives forever.
?He is from the tribe of Judah; not a Levite.
Those of us who are placed inside this Son by God became such a High Priest, holy, seperated from sinners and share in his New, Judaean High Priestly ministry of freeing men from sin.
?At Salvation, God fused me with the life of Jesus as a 15 year old teenager. Since then we have colaboured together to free others from the power of darkness (sin and sickness and infirmity); and also helped many to understand how much God loves them. We have also experienced persons who have rejected Him and died in their sins. The reality is that God gives us the power to choose life or death and respects our decisions.
?This is the calling of every child of God who has been made a New Man in Christ. We are High Priests in Him and have access to pray for the lost, ignorant and out of the Way! Our sacrifice is our life of obedience to God. May we choose to be vessels of Honour fit for our Master’s use.
*Reflection*
What a great invitation to work with God in Jesus to discover, unveil and fulfil His plan for our lives; and also help others to fulfil God’s Divine objective for their lives. Are you a High Priest in Christ Jesus? If not why? If yes, are you walking worthy of your calling in Christ Jesus?
